Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P, has disclosed why he petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC) against his elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter, however, via a post on his Instagram page on Monday evening, denied petitioning the EFFC against his twin brother Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy.
Addressing the EFCC allegation, Peter bravely narrated how he discovered Jude perpetrating fraud through a new company, ‘Northside Music’, which was similar to their company, ‘Northside Entertainment’ only that this company had only Jude and his wife as the directors.
Peter said he approached his twin brother, Paul, countless times about his discovery. Still, Paul bluntly told him ‘to do his worst’, which led him to instruct his legal team to petition Jude and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye, who were the primary suspects.
The father of two expressed disappointment that his twin publicly lied and accused him of petitioning the anti-graft agency against him, something Peter vehemently denied. He, then challenged Paul to provide the petition that he (Peter) ever submitted against him.
Peter stressed that Jude, through the secret company, Northside Music, diverted millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of Naira from their company, Northside Entertainment, and that to him was a massive betrayal.
He maintained that ‘‘Paul’s name was never mentioned in the petition because he was never a director of the secret company unless there is something he is hiding from all of us.”
He added that ”Paul was only invited for questioning just like Jason Njoku of Iroko TV, Amaju Pinnick and others who had transactional dealings with Northside Music”
He promised to share the final report of the EFCC, including receipts other documents relating to the secret company, including the CAC registration, bank transactions and bank statements that Jude set up with his wife, Ifeoma.
Recall, Peter Okoye had earlier written an open letter to his twin brother, Paul Okoye accusing his brother of disrespecting his talent, ideas, and life.
