Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has lauded his players for their strong character after they secured a place in the final at the ongoing WAFU B U-20 Championship in Togo.
The title holders started the competition with a 1-0 defeat against already eliminated Burkina Faso.
The Flying Eagles however bounced back with impressive wins against Cote d’Ivoire and Niger Republic.
South Africa will host the U-20 AFCON early next year.
