A 105-year-old veteran politician and activist, Nonye Ezeayaeche, has endorsed Democratic Party’s candidate, incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris’ candidacy, in the race for the United States’ Presidency.

The U.S. election is scheduled to hold in November.

Ezeayaeche, the oldest presidential aspirant in the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria on the platform of the African Action Congress, made the call at a news conference in Abuja on Friday.

According to her, Haris is highly educated, enlightened, exposed, experienced with highest IQ, energetic and supported by millions of women and youths.

She predicted that Harris would win the election.

“The current Vice President of America, a woman, will become the 47th president of America; her victory is sure.”

Ezeayaeche expressed confidence that Harris would be a unifier of the world and a corruption-free agent of peace that would boost the economy of America.

The centenarian, from Anambra, fondly called the “great, great, great grandma of Africa”, said “I was a Democrat during my time in the USA, but that is not why I am endorsing Kamala Harris. I am endorsing her based on merit.

“I believe she will promote peace, progress, and justice globally and also fix the economy.

“Americans should prepare for inauguration because God has destined a woman to become the first and greatest president of America.

“America is a great country and will even be a greater country under the leadership of an icon of democracy, Kamala Harris,” she said.
