FC Porto staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Sporting Lisbon 4-3 after extra-time in the Portuguese Super Cup on Saturday night.
Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi did not feature for Porto as he is still recovering from injury.
Sporting Lisbon raced to a 3-0 lead under 30 minutes in the first hakf thanks to goals from Goncalo Inacio (6th minute), Pedro Goncalves (9th minute) and Geovany Quenda (24th minute).
In the 28th minute Galeno pulled a goal back for Porto on 28 minutes to end the first half 3-1.
Nico Gonzalez made it 3-2 after scoring in the 64th minute before Galeno completed the comeback on 66 minutes.
Then in 101 minutes of extra-time Ivan Jaime got the winner for FC Porto.
