Oyo State Police command has confirmed the release of Benedict Akiika, one of the allies of Governor Seyi Makinde who was kidnapped last week.
The command made this declaration via a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso.
DAILY POST recalls that Akiika was abducted at his residence located at Idi Ape in Olorunda-Aba community in Lagelu local government area of the state on Wednesday 4th August, this year.
