Popular Nigerian Pastor and founder of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, has responded to allegations that a miracle performed during a recent conference in the United Kingdom was staged.
LEADERSHIP understands that Pastor Eze recently hosted a New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSSPD) conference in the United Kingdom where an 8-year-old girl suffering from cerebral palsy and confined to a wheelchair was said to have been healed.
The miracle sparked both praises and reactions on social media with many users accusing the clergyman of staging the miracle and questioning why he did not heal sick Nigerians.
In a recent sermon to his congregation, Eze declared that he has no “time to reply to anybody”.
The 41-year-old added that he has more “important things to do for God” and will not respond to naysayers.
“Listen NSSPDiers, you will never see this man here reply anybody. I do not have that kind of time, I do not have the time.
There are more important things to do for God. Look at the arranged miracle. No! So, she was never in a wheelchair? Look at the parents,” he said.
Eze founded Streams of Joy church in 2013 in Abia State and now has over 13 branches across Nigeria and the world, he also started the NSSPD digital prayer session during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
LEADERSHIP recalls that Pastor Eze’s (NSPPD) known for the viral slogan, ‘What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist’, has over 2.12 million subscribers and over one million views daily, making it the most-watched preaching channel on YouTube.
The report added that Eze earns more than N7million daily from the YouTube channel making him Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTuber.
