Club Brugge manager Nicky Hayen has revealed Raphael Onyedika will leave the Belgian Pro League champions this summer.

Onyedika played a key role in the Brugge’s title success last season, scoring three goals in 30 appearances.

The 23-year-old has however been linked with a move away from the club.

There is a strong interest in the player from an unnamed Saudi club.

The club is reportedly willing to meet Brugge’s €20m valuation.

There is also interest in the defensive midfielder from Premier League and Spanish clubs.

Hayen confirmed Onyedika will move elsewhere before the end of the transfer window.

“That chance is real. At the end of last season, there was also talk of that. We are working with the players who are there and our homework has been done by now,” Hayen told a press conference on Friday.

The Nigeria international linked up with Club Brugge from Danish outfit, FC Midtylland in 2022.
