Oil block licensing: NUPRC extends deadline for pre-qualification exercise

The Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has announced the extension of the deadline for the registration and submission of pre-qualification documents for the 2024 oil block licensing round. The Committee on Public Petitions has summoned the Managing Director and management of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company over a petition alleging $ 72 million fraud.   The complaint was raised against Agip by a service company, De Coon Service Limited.
