It would be recalled that the 72-year-old music icon had died at the Reddington Hospital, Lagos after she slumped while performing at the birthday party of popular socialite, Mrs. Stella Okoli.
While the daughter of Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia, Aribemchukwu was discovered dead on Wednesday morning at the entrance of her parent’s residence at Parkview Estate, Ikoyi Lagos.
Sharing photos of his visit on Saturday, Sanwo-Olu who was received by Onyeka’s sons Abraham and Tijani Ogunlende said; “Her extraordinary life and the lasting impact she made with her timeless songs have solidified her legacy.
“The vibrant spirit she embodied and the joy she shared through her artistry will always remain in our hearts.
“May God grant her family the strength to endure this loss and the comfort to cherish and honor the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.”
On his visit to Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia’s family, the governor said, “I visited Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia to express my heartfelt condolences following the untimely loss of her daughter, Aribemchukwu.
“Losing a child is a profound tragedy that no parent should ever endure. My thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this trying period.
“In moments like these, words often fall short, but I hope they find comfort in the love and support of those around them.”
