Chelsea have re-entered the race to sign Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams following their failed attempt to sign .

The Blues are now focusing heavily on Williams, who has continued to impress at both and country, with fine form during 's match against Italy.

According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the club are determined to bolster their attacking options and see Williams as a suitable candidate to elevate their squad.

Williams, born in 2002, has been a standout performer for Athletic Bilbao.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to meet the €55 million release clause set by the Spanish club to bring the talented forward to Stamford Bridge.
