The Abia State Police Command has confirmed the brutal beheading of an elderly couple, Mr. Jacob Udo and his wife, Mrs. Comfort Udo, in Bende Local Government Area.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, released a statement on Thursday titled “Re: The Alleged Murder of a Couple in Bende,” confirming the horrific incident.
She stated, “Yes, we received the report yesterday at Bende Divisional Headquarters. The crime scene has been visited, exhibits recovered, and the bodies deposited at the mortuary. Investigation is ongoing.”
