A Nigerian man has come under fire after he posted a screenshot of his girlfriend's message begging him for just ₦4,000 despite having more than ₦13,000,000 in his account.
The man's action which was seen as petty and stingy by many, resulted from a post he made on his Instagram, where he shared his account balance.
Unfortunately, the image he shared also contained a message from the girlfriend requesting ₦4,000.
The picture was reposted by @mazitundeednut, and from there it went viral with many netizens viewing the post and subsequently criticizing the young man for his action.
They hounded him for publicly sharing his girlfriend's request, as there was no need to share such information. Many wondered why the girlfriend had to beg for such a small amount of money given the amount that was in the man's account.
