Not fewer than 1,000 women and children in need of medical care will soon be evacuated from Gaza to Europe, the Head of World Health Organisation in Europe, Hans Kluge said in a statement on Monday.
Kluge said in an interview with AFP that Israel “is committed to 1,000 more medical evacuations within the next months to the European Union”.
He added that WHO which is the United Nations’ health agency, and the European countries involved would facilitate the evacuations.
