Residents of Aduin, Abogunde and Ogbomoso Baptist High School areas, Ogbomoso in Oyo State were on Thursday morning displaced by flooding that accompanied a heavy downpour.
The affected residents were seen at the banks of Aduin and Baaki rivers as the areas were submerged by flood.
Some of the residents, Mr Martins Chukwuno, Omowumi Oluwadarasinmi, Bello Mikhail and Oladayo Oyetunde, expressed concern over the incident.
They appealed to state and local governments and other relevant authorities to save their lives by dredging the river to ensure free flow of water.
