An eight-year-old boy has tragically died after being shot in the head and face at a farm in Warcop, Cumbria.
The boy was airlifted to a hospital following the incident, which occurred at around 14:50 BST on Saturday but he succumbed to his injuries overnight.
Cumbria Police confirmed that a man in his 60s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. He has since been re-arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and remains in police custody as investigations…
