Abia State Police Command has confirmed the death of one of its officers, ASP Edet Udoulo in the ambush which was mounted by hoodlums against a police patrol team in the Ohafia axis on Wednesday.
This is even as the Command has disclosed that the Commissioner of Police Abia State, CP Danladi Isa, personally led a rescue operation to the area in a bid to apprehend the hoodlums who ambushed and attacked officers on patrol duty at about 07:30hrs.
