A suspected gunrunner, Hamsatu Modu, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Yobe State.
The 54-year-old woman who hails from Morami, a village in Jakana, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, was nabbed on suspicion of trafficking ammunition from Buniyadi to Damaturu in Yobe State.
Her arrest was confirmed in a statement issued on Monday by Dungus Abdulkarim, the spokesperson for the Yobe State Police Command.
