SCOTLAND has turned beach-ready in the spring sunshine — and tomorrow is expected to be the hottest day of the year so far.

Parts of the Highlands are forecasted to enjoy a pleasant 19°C, with weathermen predicting Inverness could prove the country’s high spot.
