The governorship candidate of the Labour , Barrister Olumide Akpata yesterday accused an unnamed senior official of the Edo State government to have masterminded an attack on him on Friday afternoon at the University of Benin.

The Labour Party governorship hopeful was a guest at an interactive session organised by the University of Benin Staff but the event was violently interrupted which caused pandemonium within the premises.

He said that at the appropriate time, a detailed report of the incident and those involved would be made known to the for appropriate action.
